Baby Razak is turning 1! To celebrate our baby orangutan’s first birthday Cameron Park Zoo is sponsoring a Milk Drive for the orphaned baby orangutans at the Bornean Orangutan Survival Foundation baby houses. Razak is now with his mom after being hand reared for much of his first year, and zoo staff members know all too well how much formula babies need and the expense involved.

$5 = 3 bottles of formula
One baby orangutan drinks an average of 3 bottles of formula per day.

Cameron Park Zoo will kick off the Milk Drive December 12th and continue it through Razak’s birthday on January 12th. The public is invited to come enjoy cake and watch as Razak and the other orangutans celebrate his birthday with a LEGO themed party. The theme was chosen because the giant LEGO building blocks are Razak’s favorite toys. At the party the zoo will announce the results from the Milk Drive. By contributing to the Milk Drive your name will be entered to win a behind the scenes tour of the orangutan facility.
