Our Park Rangers are launching a new program in Cameron Park . . . WILD WEDNESDAYS. Starting at 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday this summer, you can join us for a hike in Cameron Park!
This is a great opportunity to learn the history of one of the state’s largest municipal parks and along the way discover the diverse environments the park has to offer. During the hike, which is lead by Baylor University’s intern Arianna Gustafson, you’ll discover the many plants found in the park and even learn some tips on Leave No Trace Principles and Ethics.
Perfect for explorers of all ages, and for anyone wanting to learn more about Waco’s wonderful park along the Brazos. Please wear hiking shoes, bring water, and bug spray. Hike lasts approx. 1.5 hrs. Meet at Redwood Shelter.
