The City of Waco is undertaking improvements in the Dallas Street/ Waco Drive/ Gholson Road area that will include the construction of a 1.23 mile long, 12-foot wide, concrete mixed-use trail. The trail will be constructed through the stretch of land formerly owned and used by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company. The trail will begin near the intersection of Dallas Street/ Waco Drive and end at Gholson Road.

More information about the project will be available at a meeting Wednesday, March 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Multi Purpose Community Center at 1020 Elm Ave. Representatives from the City of Waco and Walker Partners will be present to answer questions relating to how the project will affect various properties.
