Yaki, 618 Columbus Avenue. Slinging teriyaki boxes filled with rice, protein(or veggie), coleslaw and sauce. Enjoy your yaki box on the One Day patio. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. until whenever they sell out of food.
CHOW TOWN (200 S. University Parks Drive, corner of Franklin Avenue and University Parks Drive) – location of a number of food trucks over the last few years. Current roster below.
LA-TEX Burger – LA-TEX BURGER is serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, link baskets and more. Hours: Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Krab Kingz – Krab Kingz specializes in Cajun food, including shrimp, crab, and traditional sides. Hours: Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, noon – 7 p.m.
Auntie Anne’s – No need for a trip to the mall to get your favorite hot pretzels any more. Auntie Anne’s is now downtown! Hours: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon – 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Mr. Taco-On – Find a classic variety of tacos, tortas and quesadillas at this truck parked at Chow Town. Mexican sodas and Jarritos too!
ELM AVENUE TRUCKS – Cross the Washington Avenue bridge and slow drive down Elm to take in all the trucks that have popped up. Including these…
310’s Kitchen, 310 Elm Ave. Brisket and all the barbecue staples and fixins PLUS crab cakes and chicken and waffles. Outdoor seating on site. Hours: Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Hilliard’s, 800 Elm Ave. Enjoy Hilliard’s barbecue by the plate or go crazy and opt for the barbecue nachos or potato. Hours: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
Homegrown Creamery, 800 Elm Avenue. Who doesn’t love a good scoop of farm-fresh, tasty ice cream? Homegrown Creamery is serving all sorts of flavors to choose from. Not a dairy fan? They’ve even got shaved ice too! Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
