The Waco Downtown History Walk is great way to kick off your visit to Waco or to get to know your hometown. Tours are offered on the first Saturday of the month. We’ll cover Waco history highlights sprinkled with a few legends and lies. Waco’s history is a little rowdy, so the tour is very slightly PG rated.
Distance: 1-1.5 miles
Time: Approximately 2.5 hour narrated walk.
Location: Meet at the parking lot for the McLennan County Courthouse, at the corner of 6th and Washington. Inside the Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you come prepared to scoop the poop.
Wheelchair/Stroller accessibility: There are places on this walk where ramps are not easily available. You will need to be prepared to negotiate regular street curbs and some grassy areas.
