Colorful temporary murals are popping up all over town, reminding folks to Mask Up! and stay #wacosafe, thanks to a partnership between Creative Waco and more than 15 local artists and businesses.
Now, Creative Waco wants to pair the art with life and is asking YOU to take masked selfies with the murals, which enters you to win one of five Waco prize baskets. Several of the murals are in Downtown Waco and we’ve included a few on this page.
To Enter:
1. Snap an individual or group photo with the #WacoSafe mural(s) of your choice while wearing appropriate face coverings.
2. Post the photo(s) using the hashtags #WacoSafe #CreativeWaco.
3. Earn an EXTRA entry by tagging the business where the mural is located.
Visit Creative Waco’s Public Art Map to find the locations of each mural! The challenge will close August 21 at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be chosen at random and announced by Creative Waco.
