Every year on 8/08, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue celebrates National Spam Musubi Day, honoring one of Hawaii’s most iconic local foods. We chose 8/08 because Hawaii’s area code is 808, making it the perfect day to celebrate a snack that’s become a symbol of Hawaii’s local food culture. 🤙

A Spam Musubi is a simple combination of grilled Spam, rice, and nori, but in Hawaii, it’s much more than that. You’ll find it everywhere from convenience stores to family gatherings. It’s an everyday favorite that’s affordable, nostalgic, and loved across generations.
