Baylor Homecoming
Recognized as the nation’s oldest collegiate homecoming, Baylor University Homecoming is one of Waco’s most beloved traditions. The packed weekend features the famous Homecoming Parade straight through the heart of downtown, a bonfire sparkling with school spirit on Baylor’s campus, and, of course, football at McLane Stadium. The Bears will face the UCF Knights on November 1st, so be sure to wear your green and gold!
Silobration at Magnolia
Magnolia’s Silobration is one of Waco’s most classic fall events, drawing in visitors from around the country every year. From Oct 23-25, this exciting festival will feature live music performances by Forrest Frank and NeedToBreathe, artisan vendors, food trucks, and tons of family-friendly activities. Waco Diwali Festival
Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights, celebrated across India, South Asia, and right here in Waco, Texas. The second annual festival, presented by the Asian Leaders Network and Waco Downtown Farmers Market, will take place on Saturday, Oct 18, at the Bridge St. Plaza. You can expect to enjoy vibrant performers, local vendors, arts and crafts, and more! This celebration brings together Waco’s diverse community and allows visitors to experience an immersive cultural experience.
Waco Restaurant Week 2025
Waco Restaurant Week—a must for all food enthusiasts—is a city-wide celebration of Waco’s vibrant culinary scene. Taking place from October 24 to November 1, this weeklong celebration will showcase all the delicious flavors that make Waco unique, while giving patrons a chance to support local nonprofits. Restaurants, cafes, breweries and more local favorites will dish out limited-time menus and exclusive specials just for this week. Be sure to come with an appetite!


Halloween in Downtown Waco
Don’t be scared (or do), because Downtown Waco offers festive fun for all ages this Halloween. Local businesses will host safe trick-or-treating for families, while adults can enjoy themed events like the Vampire Ball Murder Mystery Dinner, Halloween Music Bingo and Scary-oke and more! Come celebrate with us if you dare!
