Marching through a month full of festivities, beer, leprechauns and the color green… sounds like St. Patricks Day is almost here! You’re in luck because downtown Waco knows how to celebrate. Mark your calendars, because local businesses all across the downtown area are hosting a variety of fun events in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Here are just a few of the businesses that are ready to celebrate with you!

Waco’s one and only Whiskey Bar and Irish Pub is not holding back when it comes to the festivities! Barnett’s Whiskey House is putting on its annual St. Patrick’s Day party, with events on both March 17 and 18. From live DJ music in Barnett’s outdoor beer garden, delicious Irish food, and green beer and beard competitions, you don’t want to miss this.

Located on 8th Street, this spot is brewing something to celebrate. This family-owned brewery sells 100% craft beer, perfect for a *cheers*. Southern Roots Brewing Company is hosting its own St. Patrick’s Day party including live music, Irish-inspired pizza and new beer releases. Come grab a slice and check it out!

Fancy a round of mini golf? Make your way to the putting green this St. Patrick’s Day! Putter’s, located on Second Street, is hosting their Putt-Putt event starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 17. They will also have DJ Monstarr performing in the evening and all ages are welcome until 9 p.m. Swing on by!
