Market Madness

We don’t know much about March Madness but there’s definitely some Market Madness going on at the end of this week.

While Spring at the Silos is taking place at Magnolia Market, a sprinkling of other markets have sprung up this weekend as well.

There are quite a few local vendors and artists that are participating in the markets and we encourage you to come check them out. If the Spring at the Silos traffic seems daunting, we suggest you make your way downtown via Waco Drive or Franklin Ave and park on the West side of Franklin. The city’s garage at Franklin and 4th would be a good option. You can use the map on our Getting Around page to scope out additional public parking. Then make the short walk to the markets you’re interested in.

The Markets:

Spring at the Silos, Magnolia Market – Thursday through Saturday.

Savage Finds Spring Flea Market, 324 S. 6th St. – Savage Finds, just a hop, skip and diagonal jump from Magnolia, fills its backyard with various vendors and has been doing this during Magnolia events for a while now. Thursday through Saturday

Texas Food Truck Showdown, Heritage Square – On top of the good food truck fare, live music and fun, there will be a Pop Up Market at this popular event. Saturday only.

Eighth Street Market: Spring Merchant Collective, 8th Street and Jackson Avenue – This is one of the new markets making its debut during this busy weekend. Sara Jo’s Haute and Gaudy Squad, Palmer Lettering Co., Honor Society, Kissing Tree Vineyards, Lovely Enterprise, Midwest Handcrafted, Coming Home to Waco, Glory Haus Inc., Congress Clothing, Scout Homegoods, Looney Girls Home, The Bell Collection, Lazy Susans by Joann, Outpost Pottery, Another Season, 1856 Leather Goods, Field Guides, Talk More Tech Less, Brazos Valley Cheese, Hull’s Concessions, Jones Wellness, LINE Handcrafted, El Cedro Cigars.
